Best 55K PC build | Killer performance on budget
Hello guys! Today we will be discussing on building the best gaming PC around Rs.50,000. I will be guiding you through all the components we will be using for this build along with their prices. Make sure to read till the end!.
Components we will be using for this build
- CPU : AMD Ryzen 5 3500X
- Motherboard : GIGABYTE GA-A320M-S2H
- GPU : Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660
- RAM : 8GB DDR4 3000Mhz RAM
- STORAGE : 1TB HDD
- PSU : GIGABYTE GP-P450B 450W PSU
- CABINET : RGB Mid Tower PC
CPU

The AMD Ryzen 5 3500x is one of the best processor for this budget gaming pc. It’s build on AMD’s Zen 2 architecture with 7nm process. It homes 6 Cores and 6 Threads and the base clock speed of 3.6 GHz and 4.1 GHz max boost clock speed with the 19MB of cache memory. It can easily handle multitasking and hardcore gaming.
This is a CPU and not a APU, that means it doesn’t come with any integrated graphics. So we must get a dedicated graphics card for display and gaming.
When coming to the cooling, it comes with a stock cooler. The stock cooler can maintain a temperature around 60°C to 75°C while hardcore gaming.

But if you want better cooling while gaming you should go with the Cooler Master Hyper H410R cooler it cost you an extra Rs.1,740. This cooler can maintain a temperature around 50°C to 65°C when you play high-end games or doing some rendering work. The fan is quite and capable to handle the CPU heat.
Motherboard

GIGABYTE GA-A320M-S2H is an entry-level Micro ATX medium size motherboard but enough capable motherboard for a budget gaming pc.
- It supports AMD 3rd Gen Ryzen/ 2nd Gen Ryzen/ 1st Gen Ryzen/ 2nd Gen Ryzen with Radeon Vega Graphics/ 1st Gen Ryzen with Radeon Vega Graphics/ Athlon with Radeon Vega Graphics/ 7th Gen A-series/ Athlon X4 Processors.
- It supports Dual Channel Non-ECC Unbuffered DDR4, 2 DIMMs.
- It supports Ultra-Fast PCIe Gen3 x4 M.2 with PCIe NVMe & SATA mode support.
- It homes Realtek Gigabit LAN with cFosSpeed Internet Accelerator Software.
- Also has Smart Fan 5 features 5 Temperature Sensors and 2 Hybrid Fan Headers.
Ports on the motherboard
- 1 x 24-pin ATX main power connector
- 1 x 8-pin ATX 12V power connector
- 4 x SATA 6Gb/s connectors
- 1 x CPU fan header
- 1 x system fan header
- Single front panel audio header
- 1 x M.2 Socket 3 connector
- 1 x front panel header
- One S/PDIF Out header
- A USB 3.1 Gen 1 header
- 1 x Trusted Platform Module (TPM) header (2×10 pin, for the GC-TPM2.0 module only)
- 1 x speaker header
- 2 x USB 2.0/1.1 headers
- 1 x Clear CMOS jumper
- 1 x chassis intrusion header
GPU

Coming to GPU, Zotac Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 is the perfect choice for this build. The Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 is powered by NVIDIA Turing Architecture. The graphics card was released March 14, 2019 but still it is capable of running modern AAA titles with an average of 50-60 fps on medium to high settings. Zotac Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 comes with 6GB of VRAM with a speed of 14GBPS. It comes with 1408 CUDA cores with a base clock speed of 1530 Mhz and a max clock speed of 1785 Mhz and consumes consumes 125W power. Which means you must have a 450W PSU to get better performance without any issue.
It can support a resolution of 7680×4320 at 120Hz and also support VR. It has Display Port 1.4a, HDMI 2.0b and DL-DVI-D.
Zotac Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 can provide you a smooth 1080p gaming experience without any lag or stuttering problems. It also can push a decent amount of frames in nearly all modern AAA titles.
RAM

I suggest you to go with at least 8GB ram to run AAA titles smoothly. But I recommend if your budget allows to spend few more money then you should go with 2 GBs in dual channel configuration. Being a Ryzen PC build, going with Dual channel memory would give significant performance boost over single channel.
If you are not interesting in streaming or doing any other during gamming session, then 8GB RAM will be enough for you.
So our Ryzen budget pc, we are gonna use Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB DDR4 3000 Mhz RAM, The heat spreader is made of pure aluminum for faster heat dissipation, and the custom performance PCB helps manage heat and provides superior overclocking headroom.
Storage

Since our budget doesn’t allow a SSD we will be going with a Seagate BarraCuda 1 TB 7200 RPM HDD as our storage. Nowadays all AAA titles take a lots of storage, so going with least 1 TB HDD is recommended.
I recommend going with SSD+HDD for better performance. Going with a SSD as a boot device will have faster windows boot times and have a faster loading times while gaming.
If we talk about speed then this HDD Seagate BarraCuda gives you on an average speed of 120 MB/s as read and write, SATA 6Gb/s interface optimizes burst performance, 64MB Cache and Multi-Tier Caching. So The Seagate BarraCuda 1 TB 7200 RPM HDD is the best option.
But if your budget allows to add more money then you should go with Transcend TS128GMTE110S 128GB M.2 SSD and use it for boot drive. It will cost you extra Rs. 2,988.
PSU

PSU is one of the very important part of our pc especially gaming pc. The PSU is the main powering unit for a PC. During gaming or heavy workload the CPU and GPU tend to draw more power. When the PSU is not able to provide sufficient power to the components it may lead to component damage. Without a proper PSU there chance of your PC to catch fire when there is a voltage fluctuation.
People not knowing the importance of PSU tend to compromise on it. I recommend you to go for a SMPS is capable of giving enough power to your PC and also you should choose a reliable brand for SMPS.
GIGABYTE is a trusted brand and the GP-P450B 450W PSU will provide enough power to your pc. The MWE delivers everything you expect from top tier power supply. This unit also comes with a circuit design that will protect your system at all times. The 120mm fan keeps your system cool with little noise. This tough little box is the perfect solution for all your power needs.
Cabinet

Coming to the cabinet, it’s not a big deal. Choosing a cabinet with good air flow is ideal, RGB is personal preference. I personally prefer minimal RGB because its not much distracting. For the cabinet for this build, Ant Esports ICE-130AG Mid Tower would be a good option for Micro ATX motherboard this CPU cabinet. It is RGB cabinet at an affordable price.
It comes pre-installed with one 120mm automatic fans on the rear, It has 4mm thick edge to edge tempered glass on the side panel which gives the case a unique outlook and various options to show off your build inside. It also has good air flow and a dedicated RGB control button on top for the front RGB strip to change 8 Different RGB color modes.
Coming to front panel IO, it has one USB3.0, two USB2.0, an RGB control button, and HD audio on top.
